Shramdaan Shivir cleanliness drive reaches Malikpora Pulwama
PULWAMA: The cleanliness drive work camp of the Shramdaan Shivir Programme continued for the second day in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Tuesday.
On the second day, the drive reached Malikpora area of Pulwama town, where a few springs were cleaned. The springs include one near Arif Masjid Malikpora and another near Jamia Masjid Malikpora.
Volunteers from NYK Pulwama as well as Municipal Committee Pulwama participated in the drive. Also, the local youth from Malikpora took an active part in the second-day campaign of Shramdaan Shivir.
Meanwhile, Mr. Bilal Ahmad Rather, President Municipal Council Pulwama along with Khurshid Ahmad Malik, Chairman Al-Noor Baitulmaal Malikpora were present on the occasion. Both the dignitaries appreciated the cleanliness drive by Nehru Yuva Kendra Pulwama.
Mr. Khurshid particularly thanked the whole team of Nehru Yuva Kendra Pulwama, especially its Deputy Director, Mr M.K. Mir for the initiative.
