Bhat Musaddiq Reyaz greets people on Eid-ul-Adha

SRINAGAR: Renowned social activist from south Kashmir, Musaddiq has extended heartedly greetings to the people of J&K on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

In his message, Musaddiq said Eid-ul-Adha is a unique occasion that provides us with a golden opportunity to renew our spiritual lives and engage in soul searching with a view to improving our character and our absolute faith. "It is also a profitable opportunity to strengthen our unity and friendship."

"It is also an opportunity to reflect our good deeds and to recommit to values of gratitude, compassion, and generosity. While we are celebrating this holy festival, we should also take care of Covid appropriate behaviour and should take necessary precautions," he said.

He added, "On this day, let us commit to display peace, unity and love. We should also pray for the prosperity of the nation and its peace development."

He said the Eid-ul-Adha marks the completion of the annual Hajj to Mecca and "we pray that those who made the journey gained peace and fulfilment after a long period of reflection."

"Like Abraham (peace and blessings be upon him) who Allah blessed for his willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice. We hope that our undertakings will inspire us to be humble and generous to our fellow men and encourage us to be conscientious individuals," he added.
