Pulwama youngsters shine in 45th National Powerlifting Championship

PULWAMA: Three youngsters of Pulwama, Mudasir Wani (Senior category) & Basit Hamid (Junior category) topped All India 45th National Powerlifting Championship held at Delhi with Gold medal & Mouzam Parvaiz (Junior category) with Silver.

Mudasir Wani, a powerlifter from Dadoora Pulwama said, "It’s my passion to participate in such events & my only aim is to make Kashmir proud globally."

Basit Hamid, a young body builder & founder of Team Extreme Powerlift from Prichoo said, "I’m very passionate about body building & request youngsters to come into the sports & leave drug abuse."

Mouzam Parvaiz, a teenager from Dalipora Pulwama, who shined in Junior category with Silver is also passionate about body building since childhood & has an aim to become Mr. Kashmir.

All of them have got selected in international powerlifting trails in USA.
