Kashmakash distributes food items among less privileged families in Pulwama
PULWAMA: Kashmakash, a group of young social activists, distributed essential food items among less privileged families in different villages of district Pulwama on Friday.
Almost 50 families were provided with different food items at various villages like Naira, Tengpuna, Chatapora & Dangerpora Pulwama.
Musadiq Riyaz Bhat, one among the group of boys, praised his associates which include Shahbaz Mushtaq, Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh & Adnan Rashid among others.
“Our team Kashmakash works for the welfare of people & we will always be ready to help the people of Valley especially in Pulwama," Musaddiq Reyaz said.
He urged the citizens of Pulwama to donate generously for the purpose so that all the less privileged families have something to feed themselves during the period of lockdown, due to the threat of COVID-19.
One of the members, Shahbaz has been providing online classes to students of Classes 9th and 10th from the beginning of the lockdown.
The group has urged youth to come forward and work as a volunteer to start helping the needy in what they described as the "worst time facing the world."
