CRPF 180 BN distributes dry food packets, sanitization kits in Aripal Tral
TRAL: In view of COVID-19 pandemic lockdown throughout the country, CRPF 180 BN in Tral area of south Kashmir on Thursday distributed food packets and santization kits among the needy and underprivileged people.
An official said that awareness-cum-distribution camp was held in Aripal tehsil's Zizibal-Lam village today, in which people were made aware about COVID-19 and were given basic food items.
He said that dry food packets containing 5 kgs Rice, 04 kgs Flour, 02 kgs Sugar, 2 kgs Potatoes, 01 kgs Salt and 01 litre Milk along with bathing soap, face masks, napkin papers and sanitization packets were given to 85 families of Lam-Zizibal village.
"Besides that, the villagers were informed about the deadly COVID-19 and precautions to be taken to curtail its spread," the official said.
On the occasion, Sub District Police Officer (SDPO) Tral, Dr. Aijaz Malik was also present among other officers.
