Forces launch searches in Sopore village

Srinagar: Government forces on Sunday evening launched a cordon and search operation in Sopore locality of north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

An official said that army's 22 RR unit, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched a joint operation in Zaloora village of Sopore.

He said that the operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
