Applications on the prescribed format (available on www.gmcs.edu.in) are invited from the eligible candidates for the following positions for a period of 15 months only on contractual basis on the consolidated remuneration under Recruitment of research staff for 'ICMR Task Force Study on Consumption of Food and Food Products/ Items High in Fat, Salt and Sugar' for Government Medical College, Srinagar study site.

(* Relaxation in age shall be given for the number of years of experience in research activities to the maximum of five years.)

·                     All the eligible candidates shall submit the duly-filled application on the prescribed format along with all relevant academic/ research certificates/testimonials/documents as prescribed above, in the Office of Head of the Department, Community Medicine/ Social & Preventive Medicine, (Principal Investigator), Government Medical College, Srinagar by or before by person till 30th June 2018, 2:00 PM or shall reach by post by 2nd July 2018.

·                     The Interested/eligible candidates can download the required application format from the official website of the Govt. Medical College, Srinagar viz http://www.gmcs.edu.in/

·                     The short-listed applicants shall have to appear before the selection committee constituted for the purpose, along with all the original testimonials and other related documents on the date of interview, which will be notified separately through print media as well as official website of Govt. Medical College, Srinagar viz. www grno_seguin• if need arises.

·                     No T.A/D.A will be paid and no separate call letters will be sent to the candidates at the time of interview.

·                     The selected candidates shall have to execute an agreement that he/she will not leave the research project before the completion of fifteen months'contract, however, abandoning/terminating of the arrangement will require one month's prior notice on either side, failing which the remuneration shall not be paid for one month to the incumbent, which shall always remain in deposit with the Department and shall be released on the completion of sanctioned term.

·                     Application not falling in the prescribed criteria or without relevant documents shall be rejected outrightly.
