IED detected, defused in Pulwama: Police
Pulwama: Government forces claimed to have averted a tragedy on late Wednesday night after they detected and defused two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in Dangerpora area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir.
“A naka party comprising of Army, CRPF 182, 183 bn and police detected two IEDs which were kept inside a bucket at Dangerpora near Circular Road.
The devices were later defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad of Police without causing any damage, thereby averting what could have been a tragedy,” a police official said.
